AboutColumbia, SC
A small local team with your full attention.
We work with small offices across Columbia and the Midlands, and you deal with the people doing the work.
Who we are
EmberGuard Security is a small team based in Columbia, SC, led by Chase McCracken, Founder. We’re former NCAA Division I football players at the University of South Carolina, and we help local businesses find and fix their security gaps before someone else finds them.
Results matter. So does the process.
Football taught us that the outcome is what counts, and that you only get it by doing the work behind it: preparation, repetition, and honest film review. We bring that to security. A clean scorecard means nothing without the process that earns it, so we show our work.
What we stand for
Three things you can hold us to
-
Preparation
We show up having done the homework, and with a written plan.
-
Accountability
We say what we’ll do, do it, and tell you plainly if something is outside what we do.
-
Plain talk
No jargon. You’ll understand every finding.
Small team, full attention
You get our full attention, not a ticket number. When you call, you talk to the people doing the work.
Why the first assessment is free
Most small offices don’t know where they stand on security, and finding out shouldn’t cost money. The free assessment gives you real numbers. If you want help fixing what it finds, that’s when we talk cost.
See our work before you pay for anything.
The assessment is free, with no obligation. Serving Columbia and the Midlands.
